A fine Victorian period sterling & bone cheese scoop, or perhaps marrow scoop. Long bone or tusk handle with a generous sterling scoop. Wonderful patina. Nice long handle. London marks for 1878 and maker is George Adams of Chawner & Co., major spoon maker of the era.11.2″ long scoop bowl is 2.2″ x 1.25″. No cracks creases or dents in bone or sterling. Very good condition. Please Email if you have questions. Unusual piece for that hors d’oevres setting.
